Gyms in Orange

Orange City Council runs an aquatic centre with interval classes on its timetable, but no gym. For a weights floor, tell us how you train and one local gym or studio gets your enquiry.

What to know about Orange

Classes at the Aquatic Centre

The council's Orange Aquatic Centre sits on the corner of Hill Street and Warrendine Street. It opens every day except Christmas Day and Good Friday. There is a heated outdoor 50 metre pool with nine lanes and a heated indoor 25 metre pool with eight. Alongside aqua fitness, the timetable lists AMRAP, High Intensity Training (HIT) and Tabata sessions. Memberships, passes and class bookings go through the council's online portal.

The council page lists pools and classes, not a gym. If you want racks, benches and machines, that means a private gym or studio.

Stadiums old and new

Sir Neville Howse Stadium at Anzac Park is council-owned and run for the council by a community organisation. Local netball and basketball associations use it every week. At the Orange Regional Sporting Precinct, John Davis Stadium is under construction, with a major grandstand of 1,350 seats. Both are for sport. Neither is a gym.

Renters, read the transfer clause

The 2021 Census found 33.3% of occupied homes in Orange were rented (ABS QuickStats). If you might move within a year, check:

  • Is there a fixed term?
  • Can you cancel if you move away?
  • What notice must you give?

Our gym memberships page covers the clauses to read.

InterFit is an independent referral service. Your Orange enquiry is passed to a single gym or studio, which may pay us. Find a gym.
